Inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist Dedicated to Jiezhang Dated spring, guisi year (1953) Note: This painting was dedicated to Xinzhang. Liu Xinzhang, a native of Taiwan, was acquainted with artist Zhang Daqian. The present lot was given to Liu as a gift in Hong Kong before the artist returned to the USA in 1953.
