Paul Klee (1879-1940) Zerstörung und Hoffnung (Kornfeld 68 II.bB) lithograph with handcolouring, 1916, on Van Gelder laid paper, initialled and dated 1916, inscribed with the work number 55 and titled in pencil, one of a small number of impressions before the numbered edition of sixty, Kornfeld's type B, handcoloured with watercolour in blue, green, orange, yellow and violet, with margins, probably the full sheet, time staining at the extreme sheet edges, a pale discolouration at the lower right, otherwise in good condition, framed L. 402 x 338 mm., S. 562 x 429 mm.
