Antonio Canaletto (1697-1612) View of a Town on a River Bank (Bromberg 9) etching, before 1744, watermark Initials FC (Bromberg 32), a very good impression of the first state (of two), trimmed to the subject at left and right and just into the signature below, the subject reduced by circa 6 mm. above, with the usual vertical central crease, some very faint traces of watercolour in places, a thin spot at lower right only visible verso S. 291 x 426 mm.
