Yves Klein (1928-1962) Victory of Samothrace signed with initials and dated 'YK 62' (on the wing); signed with initials again and numbered in Roman numeral 'YK V/XXV' (on the reverse); numbered again in Roman numeral 'V/XXV' (on the marble base) plaster with dry blue pigment in synthetic resin on a marble base 19¾ x 9½ x 11½ in. (50.2 x 24.1 x 29.2 cm.) Executed in 1962. This work is number V from an edition of XXV.
