James Abbott McNeill Whistler Venus (K. 59) etching with drypoint, 1859, on laid paper, a very fine impression with rich contrasts, second, final state, the fine drypoint lines of the sheets in the foreground and the foul-biting in the lower right corner printing clearly, with margins, scattered foxing and discolouration, pencil inscriptions in the lower margin, laid to the backboard, framed P. 150 x 226 mm., S. 200 x 257 mm.
