Hans Hofmann (1880-1966) Untitled signed with the artist's initials and dated 'HH 42' (lower right); stamped with the Estate of Hans Hofmann stamp and numbered '1384-2' (on the backing board); numbered again M1384-2 (on the reverse) wax crayon and ink on paper 11 x 8 ½ in. (27.9 x 21.6 cm.) Executed in 1942.
