Albrecht Dürer The Lamentation, from: The Large Passion (B. 13; M., Holl. 122; S.M.S. 162) woodcut, circa 1498/99, without watermark, a good impression from the Latin text edition of 1511, trimmed slightly irregularly on or just into the borderline, a small loss at the lower left, three other tiny losses into the borderline at left, a short backed tear at the lower right sheet edge, remains of an old backing sheet verso, some very minor spots and stains; with The Deposition (B. 12; M., Holl. 123; S.M.S. 163) from the same series, woodcut, circa 1496/97, watermark Tower with Crown and Flower (M. 259), a good impression from the Latin text edition of 1511, a little dry in places, trimmed on the borderline, one or two unobtrusive foxmarks, remains of old backing paper verso, generally in very good condition S. 391 x 282 mm.
