Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn (1606-1669) The Artist's Mother seated at a Table, looking right: three quarter length (Bartsch, Hollstein 343; Hind 52) etching, circa 1631, on laid paper, a good impression of the second state (of three), with the fine lines in her face and hands still printing well but showing some wear in the densely worked areas, trimmed to the monogram at left and approximately 5 mm. into the blank area above, otherwise just within the platemark, a repaired tear at the right sheet edge, some scattered foxing, window-mounted, framed S. 144 x 117 mm.
