Fernand Léger (1881-1955) Tapis 'Jaune' No. 9 with the signature 'F.LEGER.4/10' (in the weave on the reverse); with inscription 'LEGER No.9 230x210' (on an attached label) hand-woven wool tapestry 91¾ x 43 7/8 in. (233 x 111.5 cm.) One of the first five models conceived by Léger for Mybor circa 1927; this model from the edition by Marie Cuttoli and Lucie Weill produced between 1949 and 1962.
