(1833-1898) St Dorothy signed with initials and inscribed 'EBJ/to/RH' (lower left), further inscribed 'SA DOROTHEA' (upper right), and further inscribed 'Saint Dorothy given to Rosalind Howard by E.B. Jones' (on an old label attached to the reverse) pencil, black and red chalk, watercolour and bodycolour, heightened with gum arabic and gold on paper laid on canvas 37 ½ x 16 1/8 in.
