GEORGE BELLOWS Splinter Beach (M. 28) lithograph, 1916, on wove paper, signed and titled in pencil, annotated 'First proof' (the edition was 70), with full margins, the palest light-, mat and time staining, soft rippling throughout, moisture staining in the lower margin (primarily visible on the reverse, with associated rippling), glue staining in places in the margins, a few short tears at the lower sheet edge (two repaired), otherwise in good condition, framed L. 15 x 19 7/8 in. (381 x 505 mm.) S. 22¼ x 28¼ in. (565 x 718 mm.)
