During his tenure, he curated multiple exhibitions for Zhang Daqian, all of which were well received at the time. He organised the publication of the six volumes of A Collection of the Paintings of Zhang Daqian, which has been regarded as a canon of its kind and contributed greatly to the spread of Zhang’s art.
