Sled (Schlitten)

Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) Sled (Schlitten) stamped with signature 'BEUYS' (on the upper edge of the sled), and numbered '20' (on a metal plaque affixed to the sled) wooden sled, felt, belts, flashlight, fat, rope and oil 13¾ x 35 3/8 x 16 in. (34.9 x 89.8 x 40.6 cm.) Executed in 1969. This work is number twenty from an edition of fifty plus five Hors de Commerce.
