Karl Schmidt-Rottluff (1884-1976) Selbstbildnis (Schapire 245) woodcut, 1919, on cream laid paper, signed in pencil, inscribed with the artist's oeuvre number 1916, dedicated Frau Felixmüller für erlittene Portraitqualen!, with the estate stamp of Conrad Felixmüller at the lower left sheet corner and inscribed with two inventory numbers in pencil and ink, one of only very few impressions, with wide margins, possibly the full sheet, two small moisture stains in the upper left sheet corner well outside the subject, some minor creases and stains in the margins, the subject in very good condition B. 495 x 395 mm., S. 648 x 515 mm.
