Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938) Segelboote bei Fehmarn (Schiefler 213; Dube H 243) woodcut, 1914, on soft cream wove paper, a good, strong impression, printing with much texture, in particular in the sea at left and right, Dube’s third, final state, not signed, with the artist's estate stamp of the Kunstmuseum Basel verso (inscribed in ink H. 213 IV), with wide margins, presumably the full sheet, a deckle edge below and at left, the upper margin with a horizontal fold, a short tear at the right sheet edge at centre right, pale light-staining, some creases and stains in the margins B. 420 x 404 mm., S. 617 x 435 mm.
