Romain De Tirtoff 'Erté' (Russian/French, 1892-1990) Rasputine signed 'Erté' (lower right), inscribed as title and numbered with studio stamp '16.017' (on the reverse) pencil and bodycolour on paper, mounted, unframed 14 ¾ x 11 in. (37.5 x 28 cm.) Executed for Les Folies Pigalle in 1959.
