NOTE:
Kano Naoki (1868-1947) went to China in 1900 and studied Chinese Philosophy for three years. He was a member of the Chinese Cultural Bureau in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan from 1923 to 1938, and the pioneer of Kano School of China Studies.
