(1893-1977) Misbourne Valley, Chalfont St. Peter signed 'John Nash' (lower right), dated '1915' (lower left), inscribed 'Misbourne Valley/Chalfont St. Peter/dull evening' (on the reverse) pencil, watercolour, chalk and ink on paper 10 x 10 ¾ in. (25.4 x 27.3 cm.) Executed in 1915. There is an ink and watercolour drawing of a landscape by the same hand on the reverse.
