OTTO DIX (1891-1969) Maud Arizona ('Suleika, das tätowierte Wunder') drypoint, 1922, on wove paper, signed in pencil, dated, titled and inscribed Probedruck, second, final state (Karsch assumed the existence of a first state, but could not trace an example of it), a fine proof impression, printing with considerable burr and plate tone, aside from the numbered edition of fifty presumably published by the artist Plate 298 x 197 mm.
