FRANCISCO DE GOYA Y LUCIENTES (1746-1828) Los Caprichos the complete set of eighty etchings with burnished aquatint, drypoint and engraving 1797-98 on white and cream wove paper, without watermarks a very good set of the rare Second Edition printed and published by the Real Academia, Madrid, circa 1855 printing with good contrasts, the aquatint still quite strong and even the full sheets (as issued), within the original beige paper-covered card boards with Plate 1 on the front the binding worn, the spine partially split generally in good condition Sheets 320 x 215 mm. Overall 327 x 237 mm.
