AFTER VINCENT VAN GOGH (1853-1890) BY JACQUES VILLON (1875-1963) Le Paysan (Ginestet & Pouillon E653) aquatint in colors, 1927, on wove paper, signed in pencil by Villon, numbered 84/200, published by Bernheim-Jeune, Paris, with wide margins, bearing a pencil annotation 'After Vincent Van Gogh', pale mat staining, a few soft handling creases in the margins, glue remains in places at the reverse of the sheet edges (with associated staining and skinning), otherwise in good condition, framed P. 15½ x 12½ in. (394 x 318 mm.) S. 22 x 18¼ in. (559 x 464 mm.)
