Emil Nolde (1867-1956) Landschaft signed 'Nolde' (lower right); signed again indistinctly 'Nolde' (lower right; on the artist's mount), dated and inscribed 'Kliffende, Sept. 30' (lower left, on the artist's mount) and inscribed 'Ihrer Anmut, dank, Ihnen in Ihnen' (upper right, on the artist's mount) pastel on paper laid down on the artist's mount 3 1/8 x 5 1/2 in. (8.1 x 14 cm.) Executed in Sylt in September 1930
