Otto Dix (1891-1969) Kriegskrüppel (Karsch 6) drypoint, 1920, on heavy cream wove paper, signed, dated and titled in pencil, inscribed I. Probedruck Kaltnadel, the first trial proof before the first edition of 15 and the second edition of 20 (published by the Dresdner Verlag, Dresden, 1921, in the portfolio 6 Kaltnadelradierungen), a fine impression of this very rare and important print, with rich burr and subtle tone, probably the full sheet, with margins, some light foxing and a few minor creases in the margins, generally in good condition P. 258 x 396 mm., S. 327 x 495 mm.
