HENRI MATISSE Intérieur, la Lecture (D. 457) lithograph, 1925, on Chine, signed in pencil, numbered 38/50 (there were also 10 artist's proofs), with full margins, the palest light- and mat staining, minor surface soiling and a few short tears in places at the sheet edges (a few touched-in and with associated paper losses), a few skinned areas on the reverse in the margins (showing through in raking light), backed with Chine, otherwise in good condition, framed L. 10 11/16 x 7½ in. (272 x 191 mm.) S. 15 3/8 x 12 in. (391 x 305 mm.)
