Heureuse année

Joan Miró (1893-1983) Heureuse année signed, inscribed and dated 'Heureuse Année/1963/Miró' (lower right) pen, blue ink and wax crayon on paper 10 7/8 x 8¼in. (27.7 x 21cm.) This work is accompanied by a letter and envelope from the artist to Mr Koichi Tominaga, Curator of the National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo. In the letter, Miró wishes Mr Taminaga a prosperous 1964 and thanks him for his work on Miró's exhibition of graphic works at the museum. (3)
