JOAN MIRO Gargantua (D. 972) etching, aquatint and carborundum in colors, 1977, on Arches watermark Maeght, signed, dated '78' and dedicated 'à Jean Michel amicalement' in pencil, numbered 14/X (a proof apart from the edition of 50, Dupin calls for the additional Roman numeral proofs to be numbered out of XIV), published by Maeght Editeur, Paris, the full sheet, mat and time staining, unobtrusive soft creasing in a few places at the sheet edges, a printing imperfection at the left sheet edge, otherwise in good condition, framed S. 62¾ x 47 in. (1594 x 1194 mm.)
