EMIL NOLDE (1867-1956) Freundinnen (Schiefler/Mosel E30) etching, aquatint and drypoint in blue-black, 1906, on laid paper, Schiefler/Mosel's sixth (final) state, signed and dated in pencil, also signed by the printer, Otto Felsing, in pencil, numbered '9' (the edition was 20 in this state), with wide margins, light-staining, pale foxing, pale mat staining, a soft 4½-in. crease in the upper left margin, mat staining and heavy foxing on the reverse, otherwise in good condition, framed P. 7 5/8 x 6 7/8 in. (194 x 175 mm.) S. 20 5/8 x 14 7/8 in. (524 x 378 mm.)
