JOSEF ALBERS (1888-1976) Formulation: Articulation signed 'Josef Albers' in ink (on the first page) and numbered 'THIS IS NUMBER 794 OF 1000' in ink (on the reverse of the cover page) the complete of thirty-three screenprinted folders (each folder with one, two or four images on Mohawk Superfine Bristol paper), with title page, statement of contents, text, justification and original gray linen-covered boards with slipcases with the title on the spine (in two volumes). 20¾ x 15¾ in. (52.7 x 40 cm.) Executed in 1972. Published by Ives-Sillman, Inc., New Haven, in collaboration with Harry N. Abrams, New York. This work is number seven hundred and ninety-four from the edition of one thousand.
