Emil Nolde E. N. (Selbstporträt) (S. & M. 89) etching with aquatint, 1908, on greyish wove paper, signed in pencil, inscribed E.N. in pencil at the lower left sheet corner, an impression of the second, final state, one of only a few impressions (S. & M. record two impressions of the first state and no specific number of impressions of the second state), with wide margins, probably the full sheet, very pale light staining, minor discolouration along the left sheet edge, in good condition, framed P. 309 x 238 mm., S. 630 x 453 mm.
