Inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist Dated Summer, xinhai year (1971) Dedicated to Xinzhai Note: Ding was very close to the Li family and frequented their house regularly for meals. Banana Leaf and Frogs, as well as Orchids and Bamboo, are two eccentric works by Ding that were given as gifts to the Li family as a testament to their friendship.
