Rembrandt Harmensz. van Rijn Christ and the Woman of Samaria: An arched Print (B., Holl. 70; H. 294) etching with drypoint, 1657, a good impression of the third (final) state, countermark V A (cf. Hinterding B.a.a), trimmed to the platemark but outside the border, occasional unobtrusive soft creasing, minor defects at the corners on the reverse where previously hinged, with minor repairs and thin-spots at the left sheet corners, otherwise in good condition S. 123 x 160 mm.
