Suite of 28 original drawings, published in The Novels of Jane Austen, London, J.M. Dent & Co., 1898, typically signed “C.E. Brock” or “H.M. Brock,” majority dated 1898. 26 are watercolors with pen and ink, and two are pen and ink designs for Pride and Prejudice. Average size is 12 ½ x 9 ¼ in. (32 x 24 cm) sheet sizes except as noted. Overall very good condition (Sense and Sensibility drawings with a little soiling, a few relaid on new paper, a few marginal pencil marks and pen trials).
