Ivon Hitchens (1893-1979) Arched Trees No.14 signed 'Hitchens' (lower right), signed again and inscribed '"Arched Trees" No 14./Ivon Hitchens/Greenleaves. Petworth. Sussex' (on a label attached to the stretcher) oil on canvas 16 x 35½ in. (40.6 x 90.2 cm.) Painted in 1954.
