After Marc Chagall (1887-1985) Aleko (Maeght 1206) etching and aquatint in colours, circa 1955, on watermarked BFK Rives paper, signed in pencil, annotated 'H.C', an hors commerce impression aside from the standard edition of 300, published by Maeght, Paris, the full sheet with deckle edges on three sides, unobtrusive surface dirt at the extreme sheet edges, otherwise in good condition P. 470 x 525 mm., S. 560 x 761 mm.
